How long has HD Auto Studio been in business?
I started HD Auto Studio (Formerly HD Automotive Detailing) in 2017. I’ve cared for my own vehicles since I started driving my first car, a 1989 Toyota Celica, in 2004.
I had no idea what I was doing back then. I still remember my dad getting upset when he found out I’d used almost an entire bottle of hair shampoo on the floor mats because I wanted to “shampoo” the carpet.
Since then, I’ve spent years refining my techniques, investing in professional tools and products, and building a business around doing things carefully. And don’t worry: no Suave will be used to shampoo your carpets.

How much do your services cost?
Pricing at HD Auto Studio depends on the service and, for some services, your vehicle and its condition. We list starting prices on our service pages. Here’s what can affect the final price:
Window tint pricing is generally fixed and depends on the vehicle and windows being tinted. Window tint removal, classic vehicles, and other special circumstances may affect the price.
Paint protection film (PPF) pricing varies by vehicle and coverage. We offer Partial Front, Full Front, and Full Body PPF, and each option covers a different amount of your vehicle.
Paint correction and ceramic coating pricing depends on the condition of the paint, including swirl marks and light scratches, and on the ceramic coating you choose. We offer 3-, 6-, and 10-year ceramic coating options.
Auto detailing pricing starts with the vehicle size and whether you’re booking interior detailing, exterior detailing, or both. The final price may increase depending on the vehicle’s condition and the results you want. Heavily neglected interiors and exteriors can take substantially longer, so contact us before scheduling to discuss the vehicle and allow us to prepare. We’re happy to take on heavily soiled vehicles; we just need to know what to expect.
Each service page lists starting prices to help you plan. For an accurate quote, visit the page for the service you’re interested in or contact us directly.
Do you offer mobile services?
Not typically. Most services are performed at our Whitmore Lake shop, where we can control the lighting and working conditions. This is especially important for window tint, PPF, ceramic coatings, and paint correction. When I first originally started HD Auto Studio as HD Automotive Detailing in 2017, I did everything mobile. Mobile detailing, mobile window tinting, mobile ceramic coatings, etc.. But since we have moved in to a fixed location in August of 2023, I have found that we are able to deliver much better results by having the vehicle brought to our shop. Window tint jobs turn out much cleaner, same with PPF, ceramic coating, paint correction, and detailing. Having a clean, controlled environment with proper lighting can make the world of a difference.
Limited mobile services may be available for select situations. Availability depends on the service and location, so contact us to ask.
